OC Local Handyman.

A local handyman business's site, from its first version as IE#1 Handyman to a rebuild with SEO, structured data, an FAQ and a vector logo.

The OC Local Handyman site shown on a desktop monitor, a tablet and a phone, with the layout adapting to each screen

The first version: IE#1 Handyman

The business started out as IE#1 Handyman, “Inland Empire’s #1 Handyman Service,” and I built its first site. It had one job: show contact info quickly on a phone. Most visitors are out in the field with only a phone or tablet, so the site was designed mobile-first and kept clean and direct.

The rebuild: OC Local Handyman

When the business rebranded as OC Local Handyman, I rebuilt the site with a sharper focus on getting found and getting called. The old ienumber1handyman.com domain now forwards to the new site, so existing links and customers still land in the right place.

  • SEO basics: unique titles and descriptions per page, a sitemap, and an FAQ that answers what people actually search for.
  • Structured data: JSON-LD so search engines understand the business, its service area and contact details.
  • A call dialog: “Two direct lines” opens a dialog with both phone numbers instead of guessing which one to dial.
  • A new logo: a vector recreation of the badge, sharp at every size.
  • Accuracy: removed claims the business couldn’t back up.
